In my opinion, Grand Theft Auto 3 for PC and PS2 is clearly GAME OF THE YEAR. I find it highly addictive and I just can't get over the fact that there is an endless drawing distance. This city is alive, and beautiful too! I love that the missions can be tackled in any way you choose. You can go on a killing spree if you feel like it, take down police helicopters, hunt criminals, do crazy-taxi missions, but best of all, it always leaves you complete freedom to do whatever you want, whichever way you want. GTA3 is a mile-stone, there is no doubt. I have read somewhere that they've sold 4.5 million copies of Grand Theft Auto games already, and I think it is well deserved. it also is an exceedingly long game, it seems to never end! Somehow they managed to combine all the best bits of Crazy Taxi, Silent Scope, Driver 2. It has racing, stealth, shooting, puzzle solving (well, some missions will require that you use your brain!). In terms of entertainment value, GTA3 is unbeatable. I would have paid twice for Grand Theft Auto 3 and still thought that it is worth every penny. A word of warning though - this game is NOT FOR KIDS. Believe me. It has violence (plenty of it), drug references, sexual references, blood, murder, mass destruction, even cruelty, you name it. Once again, Grand Theft Auto 3 IS NOT FOR KIDS.
